#2-Misplaced Priorities

Can I just mention how apt this default image is? ... for this new phase of my life. I am now the first to admit that I have not had my priorities properly arranged in the past decade of my life. This has inevitably led me to feeling regret and the feeling that I have not lived my best life so far. 

I think when it all truly kicked in was when I heard that I wasn't thought to be a perfume person. What!!! I love perfumes! I love good, beautiful and fancy girly things!! I love some expensive things too!!! Well, true, I do not earn a lot, not right now anyway. But that sentence woke something up in me. I realized that I had focused my all on making other people happy even when I had not given myself the opportunity to realize how fulfilling taking care of me could be. 

I'm currently learning how to slay on a budget (please if you know any great sites or blogs or IG handles or any great tailors in Lagos (tailored for Nigerian 20 somethings)) Holla! 

The joy I feel now when I have ordered something for me... 😍😍😍 The feeling of not feeling like a total waste when I sign up for some program...

Look, we have to find and ultimately strike a balance in our lives. I'm not saying that we shouldn't live for the fam or our blood. But you gotta live for you first. You can't get cash from an empty account now, can you?
