#2-Misplaced Priorities
Can I just mention how apt this default image is? ... for this new phase of my life. I am now the first to admit that I have not had my priorities properly arranged in the past decade of my life. This has inevitably led me to feeling regret and the feeling that I have not lived my best life so far. I think when it all truly kicked in was when I heard that I wasn't thought to be a perfume person. What!!! I love perfumes! I love good, beautiful and fancy girly things!! I love some expensive things too!!! Well, true, I do not earn a lot, not right now anyway. But that sentence woke something up in me. I realized that I had focused my all on making other people happy even when I had not given myself the opportunity to realize how fulfilling taking care of me could be.
